need for speed most wanted

ok so i got this game. first few times i played it it worked perfectly. but after a few minutes of playing it it freezes totaly. i have to restart my pc. can anyone help me on this.

when you did lastly updates? graphics card etc. about that wouldn`t have at least not anything hinder.

 

cpu: amd athalon xp 2600+
ram: 1.5gb kingston ddr ram
graphic card: nvidia gefroce 4800 ti agp 8x
hardrive space: 80 gb and 6gb free
sound card: creative sound blaster live digital 5.1

i upgraded my graphic card drivers last week.

 

what drivers newest? what about motherboard update when you did it lastly? also driver in the versions have differences.

 

all drivers are up to date.

 

go to get from the home page of the game manufacturer, there is probably some kind of update. http://www.ea.com/home/home.jsp and also faulty memory combs can cause problems test that they function.

 

how do i test if they function?

 

try turning all the graphics to lowest and turn your reolution to 800x600
