Need for speed MW and directx!

    hey guys, i have a problem when installing the new NFS. it stops after entering the serial and tells me that i dont have the right directx (which i do have 9c). i talked to EA and they were no help at all, they just said download the new one from www.micro..... bla bla bla and it says that im already running that version! has anyone ever heard of this or could help?

    I had they same problem with demo also. I had to re-install windows to fix it.

    Are you serious?... damn microsoft. there has to be some solution somewhere.
