Can anyone help me wiht this one plz!!! i been trying to encode an avi movie to dvd using cce but i keep getting a message saying "Couldnt Find Appropiate Video Codec For XVID" Am i missing something ? and if i am where do i get it and how do i fixed the problem? Any help would be much appreciated ..
by the sounds of it your missing the xvid decoder, search http://www.free-codecs.com/ for the xvid codecs needed to decode the file. Also! I recommend downloading and installing the ffdshow thing from http://www.free-codecs.com. if you install this it uses codecs from its own library. I recommend downloading a different variety of codecs such as, xvid/divx/mpeg2/mp3/ac3 filter codecs also from the site mentioned. If you download these your problem should hopefully be solved. Dan
