I've been trying to make a working backup of EA's Battle for Middle Earth (dvd-rom version) and so far have been unsuccessful. I have tried Alcohol 120, Blindwrite 5, and even a combination of the two, but all I've ended up with is a dvd-rw coaster. I was however able to burn a copy on to a dvd+r disc that will setup the game but won't play off of it, giving me an "insert the correct disc" message whenever I try. I'm fairly new at the whole copying business so if anyone has any suggestions/answers that might work I'd greatly appreciate it!

Might I add that I have a Liteon 4X-+R/2X-RW DVD drive (and don't ask more cause thats all I know about it!), and upon running A-Ray scanner the game was suspected to have Safedisc 2/3 protection.

It's bad enough that you multi-posted but 5 different threads? You can find a link to the rules (including the one about multi-posting) in my signature.
