need help book typing.

    I have an I/O magic 8x dual fromat drive.. http://www.iomagic.com/Products/show_all_results.asp?ProdID=IDVDRW8D

    From what I've gathered it is made by BTC...the IDE string is IDE1008.

    I have read that book typing to DVD ROM is better for like PS2's and older players...I have both...as far as software goes..I have decrypter and nero...I know decrypter has a booktype feature but I see no BTC drive listed there....How would I burn a dvd+r book typed to dvd-rom?? TIA

     First of all, does this drive support booktyping? Not all drives do, and I see no mention of it at the site you have the link for. If I was you, I'd look into determining if this drive does in fact have the capability to booktype .. maybe go to live chat at your link

    Yeah...I though of that after I posted and went to the live chat and the guy says ... "It should" ....but thats as far as I got....anymore help is greatly appreciated...
