Hello all I'm trying to get a couple shows from my TIVO onto a DVD so far i've got the file from my TIVO to my pc using tivo to go took that file and ran it through DirectShow Dump now i should be at the authoring stage but I seem to be stuck trying to use only freeware i downloaded DVDAuthorGUI when trying to add the new file into this program it prompted me to demuliplex so i then downloaded the recommended program from the DVDAuthorGUI site and ran the file through that at that point I was able to add the video into DVDAuthorGUI but when i have to add the audio....well i just don't know how to find it any help is greatly appreciated
try other DVD Creator software? Or go to the guide link below: http://www.dvd-ripping.biz/tivo-to-dvd.html following their described steps to do.
hey thanks much for that link with that i was able to make a somewhat decent burn problems i'm still having: -the aspect ratio isn't quite right - it comes out widescreen or perhaps letterbox is the proper term. the only option i saw was "stretch to fit" which didn't seem what i wanted to do either -there were some artifacts here and there and also some vertical lines around the borders of moving objects my pc is pretty slow - p3 866Mhz any ideas on how to improve?? thanks again! ken
