Hi, well this is my 1st time burning a VCD. After i dropped and dragged the mpeg it was adding the file, but after that a messgae box game up and says alot of stuff. then there was two buttons. it said "Turn off standard complaince and continue" and "Reencode the video file " and clicked reencode the video file. Then it added some files and started to encode it. After everything was done i took the disk out. put it back in and it said the hole disk was about 2.5 megs when the mpeg is about 180 megs. Did i do something wrong? or did i do it correctly? someone please help me. thanks.
ok where did you get the mpg from and how was it encoded? right click the video file and go to properties and find out what kind of mpg it is if it is mpg 1 or 2? try turning the compliance of and burn it may not work but you can try it ? nero does a crappy job of encoding and takes just about forever to do this....if worse comes to worse use tmpgenc to encode the video...then try burning with nero....
