This is probably something simple I'm doing wrong so here's the situation. I converted some .avi files of a few concert videos to .vob files using ConvertXtoDVD. There were 3 seperate concert videos so VTS_01_1.VOB & VTS_01_2.VOB are 1 video and so on. ConvertXtoDVD also created a MENU_SNAPS folder if that matters. This is a screenshot of the video folder. There is no IFO file for the files in the video folder and if I use IFOEdit to create one it only does so for the first video, not all 3. I have checked that all 3 will fit onto a dvd+r. I've tried to burn with DVDFab and IMGBurn but both will not without the IFO file in place. So, Not sure if I can/need to create an IFO file that icludes all 6 of the VOB files or what I need to do to get all the files onto a DVD and have a menu that would have the option play the 3 concert videos as desired. Thanks for any tips
You have three separate movie titles in your folder (VTS_01 VTS_02 VTS_03). Use the guide to rename all the VOB files into the same set (VTS_01) then create the IFO files. http://www.ifoedit.com/joinclip.html Add chapters to the new DVD to skip through it. http://download.videohelp.com/jsoto/guides/VobBlanker/splitting_cells/index.htm
Thanks for the info but I had a problem using Vob Blanker adding the files, I would get an error message and the Process button remained gray in Step 2. Instead I used Womble EasyDVD and it seemed a bit more user friendly to me. In the end I accomplished what I wanted to, got the concert vids on dvd with titles and chapters for each on the menu.
