need help burning newer dvds to DVD-R

    I have dvd shrink 3.2 , dvd fab 5, rip it 4 me, and dvd decrypter. ive copied some of my old dvds to dvd-r but whenever i try to copy newer ones that ive bought i get errors. is there anyone that can point me in the right direction? thx.

    Hi,

    the latest dvdfab should be able to rip all the latest movies.
    Perhaps you need to update your dvdfab.

    Like Bryston said, make sure you're running the latest up to date version of DvdFab.

    One might also want to upgrade to Imgburn for your burn engine as Dvd Decrypter is no longer supported.

    thx for replying. whats the latest version of dvdfab? also is imgburn a good burner?

    I'll agree that IMO Imgburn is the best out there, and it's free.

    can anybody tell me what speed on image burn i should set my dvd_rw and my blank dvd-r at. I have TDK 4.7 gb and i also have memorex 4.7gb my dvd rw is a _necdvd_rw ND-3500AG.

    I am getting the error kitty is getting for dvdfab and i have the latest verison and it lets me copy to it to my hard drive and that after i put the blank dvd-r and says starting to burn it gives me an error

    TDK and Memorex? I'll pass.

    Might want to try some better blank media. Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, and Sony.

    Burn at 6x to 8x max with no multitasking.
