Ok i wasted 5 cds trying to burn Dynasty Warriors 4, all the CD's couldn't work when i inserted it into my PS2, it has a Mod Chip but i dont know the specific model except that it is a messiah chip. Here is what i did, I have bin files in small packs cfn-dw4.001 to 021. I used HJ Split to join them together to make cfn-dw4.bin then i created a cue file with notepad it writes FILE "cfn-dw4.BIN" BINARY TRACK 1 MODE2/2352 INDEX 1 00:00:00 then i fired up alcohol 120 and did everything right. Changing the datatype to Playstation 2 and slowing down the write speed to 2x can someone please help me with this problem!
A BIN file has no subchannel data info, so 'Datatype=PS2' is useless and should be switched to 'Datatype=Normal CD'. From the tecnical point of view you did not do anything else wrong (bur I suppose DW4 is a game on CD support, not a DVD). Last, just check with CDMage the BIN file to test that the 'combine' has been done properly. Any other question to Playstation2 forum, please. And avoid multiple post (it's forbidden), please.
