need help buying a P4 ....478 socket board

    I currently have a P4 3.0 Ghz with 256MB (ram)

    but I recently had problems with my motherboard It’s

    Pentium 4 Intel Desktop Motherboard - 800MHZ Socket 478

    Model # (E210882) I want to purchased a better board than the

    one I currently have…I just want put all my old parts in the new

    motherboard…I went o Fry’s Electronics to try to find a board

    but they told me that they don’t’ carry any 478 socket boards

    because it was discontinue…can you guys help me out on finding a

    newer motherbard and where to get it online...

    you could get a socket 755 board they support intel 4

    do you mean a 775 board?

    My CPU has diffent pins in the bottom

    and i don't think it will fit...
