need help buying sata 2 pci-e card,,,,dazed and confussed

    HUH?!? There are SIX SATA II plugs on the motherboard, how many do you need? Or are you saying you don't want to plug the hard drives into the motherboard for some reason? If so, WHY? The four NVIDIA SATA II ports are FAST and scale very well if using a RAID 0 array.

    hey dog,

    there is only one red one on this board.the black ones you see are 150 mb per secound transfer speed

    the external s-ata plug is 1.5 needs to go to mutiplier to be 3.0

    the black ones are 150 mb transfer speed

    im talking s-ata 3.0 which is sata 11 or sata 2

    this is all per manual,if the manual says it,i guess its true,right?

    hey,dog thanks for the help anyway.got that pci-e card jonni said.

    this mobo is so exspensive and then you have to buy more.thanks asus.

    but this mobo is the s--t cant wait to install it....peace
