Need help connecting a dvd recorder to a Motorola 6412 DVR

I just bought a Lite-on dvd recorder (5005x) so I could save recorded programs off of my Motorola 6412 DVR (Comcast service).

While trying to hook it up, I noticed that I only have one set of audio outputs (composite) and I have those hooked up to my television set. The Motorola 6412 also only has a vhf input, so I can't hook it up that way either. How am I supposed to hook up my dvr to my dvd recorder?

I thought about hooking up the composite outputs to my dvd recorder and then hooking up the dvd recorder to the tv. The problem there is that my dvd recorder only has composite outputs and no inputs.

Any ideas?

Anyone? Did I just waste my money on a dvd recorder? Are there any dvd recorders out there that I can hook up to my Motorola 6412?
