I have a few videos from my friend. I want to convert it into AVI files. I tried a couple of free software yesterday, but they were no good and their output was horrible. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
if they are unprotected dvds then I woul recommend this Convert the vobs to an mpeg 2 with this http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VOB2MPG Then create an xvid avi with vitualdub mod which you can find here http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VirtualdubMOD if the videos are not Dvd's then get back to us
definately try xilisoft video coverter. however, the trial only lets you convert the first 5 mins of each file
