i have been looking into downgradeing from v2.6 back to 1.5 (im such a frekin idiot) (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/605) i have a wierd question, i checked my units board inside the umd tray on the right there is no print (from what i have read i gather that this is a good thing) however on the left under the umd tray the letters IC6001 are stamped in gold on the board dose anybody know if i can downgrade this? the unit was origenaly shipped with the 1.5 firmware on it so dose that mean i can deffenetaly go back(since lucky enough it is only at 2.6 not 2.8)? here is a pic i adapted to show what i am talking about:
