hi i'm using an eMachine computer and it seems like it the dvd/cd-rw drive can not burn dvd. Is there an updated some kind of software i can download to make my emachine computer burn dvds?

I had this problem before, I tried for ages to burn a dvd on the wifes e-machine, after about an hour I realised that the dvd drive is a dvd player not a dvd burner, so if you have a similar machine the the answer in no, there is no software to download to turn the driver into a burner.
