need help dvd rs wont play after being converted and burned

    could really use some help have downloaded a couple of movies from a torrent place then converted them from avi to dvd format using winavi went to burn after converting was done will not play on dvd player or xbox 360 but will show in laptop as dvd (in the x box it said could not read media and in dvd player said something about area of limitations) any help would be appreciated thanks

    Try converting using DVDFlick and burn to disk using ImgBurn. Both programs are free.

    ok i tried what u said to do i got the dvdflick and converted my movie then i wasant really sure how to burn it on the imgburn and everything i tried said invalid or unsupported image file everytime i try to add the file to the burn list

    A lot of DVD Players won't play DVD+R's for some reason. Try using -R's.

    Hi,

    dvd+Rs will play on most stand alone players if the disc is booktyped/bitset to dvd-rom

    Well, they won't play on my DVD Player. How do you know if a disc is booktyped?

    Use dvd decrypter 3.5.4.0 and it will tell you. Freeware, just google it
