Ok, I need some quick fast easy help because I'm leaving tommorow for Europe.

I'd like to bring my dvd collection but there is one more....

I got an avi file, converted it to dvd using winavi

That was fine and all.. then I burnt it using Clone dvd

I loaded it in and this is the error I got

An object or name was not found.

    Help? am I missing something?

    Wait a minute..

    In clonedvd2

I burnt it on maximum speed...

    Maybe that was the problem...

Is that what the problem is?

And if it is.. what speed do you reccomend..

    Can someone confirm this?

    Thanks a bunch

That was all confusing but yes generally you want to burn at slow speeds. Most people on here would recomend 2x-4x. What brand of media are you using?

    Not really sure...

My dad uses them a lot for his work so he says it's the highest quality you can get...

Maybe it was a bad disc?

But I will try at 2x

    Thanks

Are you burning a file that you downloaded or is it files you ripped from a dvd?

    I need to know..

    Is it Clonedvd2's fault?

Or is something wrong with winavi converter...

    Cause my dvd plays fine...

except it plays and as soon as it gets to one scene...

It skips ahead 70 frames... and so on.

    Making the dvd unwatchable..

    Please Please help me..

Should I try dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, or some other program to burn.

Or should I use a different avi to dvd converter..

    thanks

When I burn it on a disc and stick it in my dvd player it doesnt skip,

the image just flash up and down on the screen...

is this some kind of copy protection?

    cause I downloaded the avi
