can anyone tell me where to find this file i did a explorer search nothing comes up i need to find the service pack 2 files so that i can re install system restore (%Windir%\ServicePackFiles) this doesnt show up is another name for it i have xp professional media center
%Windir%\ServicePackFiles is a directory, not a file. Try searching for a folder named ServicePackFiles, if it doesn't show up it may be either hidden from a search, which can be changed by telling it to search hidden and system files and folders. Also the folder you're looking for may be located in one of the following directories: C:\Windows, C:\Windows\i386 or something like that. Make sure that you have windows explorer set to show protected operating system files as the folder may be SuperHidden. Hope this helps you find it.
