Hi Kevin Just wondered if you'd had any luck sorting out your power supply problem? Exactly the same thing has happened to mine and I'm hitting a brick wall. Did you end up having to take it to a shop?
Is it for a Sumvision external hard drive enclosure? Different enclosures use different brands, and a Sumvision one I had used a Flypower adapter (the enclosure was awful, but I had no complaints about the power adapter). If this is the case, it'd probably be cheaper to replace the unit.
