What program can I get that will allow me to connect to another person's computer and move their mouse and see whats on their screen?

Im trying to help a friend with his computer and hes in another state, and hes illiterate, I figured if I just did what i needed on his system, it would be easier..

what programs can i use for this, anything free??

Windows XP has an app built in, that will do that. It's called Remote Assistance. Click "Start" button, then click on "All Programs". Remote Assistance should be on screen somewhere. Computers on both ends needs to be setup to do it. I've never done it, so That's about all I can tell you about it.
    Good luck!

Aside from hacking (not recommended) I think you're out of options. Search the net as Remote Assistance is easy to set up on an xp computer and there's more than a few guides on how to do it. You'd be surprised how supposedly computer illiterate folks can catch on.

    Good luck to you,
