Hello all... I am looking for the right software. A friend of mine had a disc with pictures and music made using Microsoft Movie Maker. (Someone had given it to her as a graduation gift). She had placed photos together to some music of her choice and it played through a dvd player without any skips in the music and the pictures transitioned nicely. The pictures were like a slideshow with music. Since I do not have windows xp (I have windows 2000 pro), what program should I be looking for in order to accomplish this.

I have looked at Pinnacle (but you need windows xp), roxio easy cd creator 9, sony movie + dvd, and several others. I am not sure what I should get. When I ask at the store, the clerk looks at me like im talking a different language. Can anyone advise me on what I should get??

I am a coach and I would like to put a disc together for my graduating seniors. Thanks for any and all help, I greatly appreciate it.

P.S. I am not worried about the program being free, as I know I will have to shell out a few bucks!! Thanks...

Thanks borhan9... I read some reviews on that program and it did not fair too well. While searching for other programs, I came across DVD Photo Slideshow Professional. Does anyone have any input on this program?? It appears to be fairly new, but the couple reviews I did read gave it high marks. Anyone have any experience with this program?? Thanks for all the help!

Mate I have not come acroos the title that u mentioned. But if it says what u want it to do. Go right ahead or see if u can download a trial first and then play around with it and if it does what u wish then go ahead and make the purchase.
