need help flashing eurovox

    i cant seem to find firmware for my eurovox max, the only i can find is for eurovox max v 2008 this does not mach my box mine just says eurovox max no v no year no it, can any one help? please

    you either have a red blue or clone red == 8 notches from the tuner(rf in)blue = 12 notches,check here to see if you have a clone http://www.freewebs.com/dooby2oon/ all firmware can be found in eamo'slibrary under my pic in the eurovox folder

    Its the box that gives you the info when did you get it?
    what was the colour of the box it came in?
    these are indicators of the type and how each got there names.

    - hows it goin Karl- thanks for your help on the last box i had it turned out the 232 was damaged- so all was for naught

    hi am wondering if anyone can help me?

    i have a EURO VOX MAX V 08 and it was working fine until i went 2 turn it on yesterday and noticed that none of the lights or anything on the front of the box were lit up? its just like the box is not switched on or has no power to it!...

    does anybody know why this has happened? thanks in advance

    better check your fuse and your connection try someother electrical item in the powerpoint and see if that works,maybe you have a blown fuse or dodgy plug.

    yes i have alredy tried changing the fuse and tried the box in another socket but still it doesnt work..and iv also tried another electric item the socket where the box was and the iten worked fine!..

    any other suggestions anyone please?

    can you check the C14 capacitor on the psu board for any bulging or leakage,if thats ok it will need to be jtagged to get it back to life.

    Open it up and check the C14 after that come back with info and go from there.
