I have been getting this error message when I get windows updates. can any one help with this message. Windows delayed write failed. unable to save all the data for file G:\$Mft. the data has been lost. error may be caused by a failures of your computer hardware or network connection. please try to save this file elsewhere. also has anyone suffer page error messages whenever there is new windows updates. I have been getting them alot. thanks for the help
Is this on an external HDD ? There's a lot of info about bad USB connections when you search this problem. But this article seems to have a clear answer - read the 2nd paragraph - { "uncheck the box to "enable write caching on the disk" } Hope this might work for you also.
