Hi I have recently began downloading films off the net and have never had a problem, until now. Most of the newer films won't play on my machine and keep refering to codecs missing. I have read through a couple of threads and kind of understand what to do but I was hoping you could give me a step by step procedure of how to remove my original codecs and download and install the latest comprehensive list of all the codecs I need. If you could help me out with this problem I would be most gratefull thanks for your help. Redragon0
As for uninstalling codecs you should be able to navigate through your control panel to add and remove programs and remove them that way. Currently on my machine the only codecs I have are FFDSHOW AC3FILTER DIVX XVID I think that's it and I've yet to have aproblem with any files. Hope that helps you a little.
