need help installing firmware please!

    I have an LG GSA-4040B dvd drive which can write all media types and is saposed to burn at 4X. it has always only burned at 2X for me even when the dvds say 4X so could someone please tell me how to update my firmware to fix this.

    Check the above site for your firmware update and instructions for your drive. You can also read posts to see if there are any problems that might arise.
