I have a Deminsions 2400 Dell Desktop running XP Home and cant figure out how to enable my new SATA Drive..I trying to have my computer reconize the drive I have already cloned my old drive to the new but cant enable the drive please help..
hi have you inabled the sata settings in your motherboard bios and then you need to set the boot order in the bios as will hope this helps cheers Furudders
well I forgot to mention that I have a SATA Card I installed and my motherboard does not have a SATA port on it...
When you installed the card did Windows recognize new hardware? You will need to enable that card probably within Windows under Device Manager.
