For starters, what does "mount an image" mean exactly. I assumed it was just a synonym for burn an image. Ok now the real Q i dled Elder Scrolls Oblivion, so it says its a CD Image. I tried burning it with Nero burning ROM but i still cant get it to work. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!
Mounting an image is an option in some programs. It lets you mount the Image file so you can play it or see whats in it without extracting the img file itself. It in sorts is a virtual drive acts like a DVD drive. As for the Elder Scrolls what is the extension of the files?
Nvm i figured out how to mount the image. so i have to use that virtual drive everytime i want to read the disk?
If all you want to do is view an image file yes you have to mount it. What is it that you want to do with the file?
