Need help...my computer screeches and then freezes or my computer reboots itself, this happens a lot only when i'm playing games...its so annoying especially when it happens in a lan, my pc screeches and then it freezes!...somebody help me here!!!...
hmm...maybe thats the reason but sometimes it reboots itself...all i did is leave the computer on b/c i'm only downloading stuff...ok what do you think is over heating CPU temp 50-55c is that alright? and GPU temp 45-50c
those temps seem to be alright tho the cpu temp can be a bit lower. can you try another psu? are any of the capacitors on the motherboard which look like silver topped cans domed when they are supposed to be flat topped?
nope the capacities are alright...well to tell the truth sometimes the GPU gets up to 50c and sometimes the cpu get up to 55c, i have a 450w psu...i've tried putting a fan to cool the cpu down to 30-40 while paying games but then the gpu is high...and vice versa the pc still reboots...could it be the motherboards problem?
ok i'll tell you my pc spec... PC: -250Gb Seagate Sata HDD -BenQ 16X DVD-RW -BenQ 52x32x52 CD-RW -MSI NX8600GTS 256MB OC Gpu -AMD Athlon64 3500+ socket 939 Cpu -AOpen 450W Psu -Albatron KM51 series mobo Problem: sometimes computer screeches and freezes or sometimes reboots itself. Reason: Unknown so sometimes i'm scared of playing games b/c the problem happens Help!
i think so too, but at first i thought it was my HDD's problem b/c it'll suddenly shuts down and then boots up again, then i found out its my old IDE 80GB hdd's problem and the sata 250gb partitions problem, so i stopped using my old 80gb and reformatted the 250gb, and everything was alright, but when i'm playing games the problem occurs so i'm also thinking its the mobo thats causing the problem...well cant help it...if i buy a new mobo i'm basically buying a new PC, which cost money...
hmm...is that mobo socket 939, DDR ram slots and how many PCI-E does it have?...and cost...oh and hey i live in South Africa...most of the shops doesnt have socket 939 anymore...
Are there no online stores you can use? It's a single PCI express 16x with 4 RAM slots, but you don't use SLi so 1 PCIe slot is enough.
my dad, i've checked the south african online store and they dont have 939 anymore...and i prefer buying from shops...
Well socket 939 motherboards are still available in large numbers over here, sounds like the shop you use is very limited. See if there are any websites that ship internationally.
