need help...need to uninstall manually...help

    i installed alcohol 120 to look at something and when i uninstalled it the virtual bus drivers stayed.i tried to reinstall to take them out but it says error.i also tried to disable them and uninstall,no luck......i have to get them out because games i own are screwing up because of these drives being there......some wont even start because of the protection rights.....please help me get them out.....thx peace vcb386`s i think they are called,dont want to reinstall fresh windows...lol

    if you want to get rid of alcohol try doin a system restore to the day before you installed it (or the closest restore point)

    in that case id jus back up all ur stuff and do a fresh install of windows or alternitavely... it doesnt quite solce the problem but it offers a temporary fix. if you run a prog called sr7stop it will hide the virtual drives and your games will carry on working. its not the best answer but it could help til you find a better solution

    kool bro thx...yea fresh install,i know,sucks the donkey...lol...tring to avoid that.thx for that program...peace

    You should be able to clean that up by going to the Device manager and deleting in the sections (SCSI/RAID Controllers) & (System devices)the drivers . Then going Windows\System32\Drivers folder and trashing the drivers --- With Regedit in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services delete any reference to those drivers and reboot.

    i tried, had to reinstall fresh windows and lose all the c----s and keys i had,thats what i get for disabling restore.just was locked on the device manager,probably got corrupted...my fault...wont happen again....lol....probably tomarrow....but i partition hard drive with extended and logical drives this time so i hope it wont happen plus i will never disable restore again...lol...thx buddy..peace
