I use to be able to burn CDs and DVDs with my two burners, and now I can't. Its been a few months since I burned a data CD or an audio CD - now I'm not able to do either. Some facts: Since my last successful burn, I've loaded, and in some cases unloaded, approximately 10 programs that "might" matter - I didn't keep track of the programs, but they include iTunes, new firmware drivers for both my burners (a SONY CD burner, and an NEC DVD burner), video capture software, etc. I can't burn now, eiher data or audio CDs, and I've tried using both Memorex and TDK media - fyi, I've been successfully using the Memorex CDs for over a year. You have installed Nero7 without first removing Nero6. You will have to uninstall Nero, run these clean tools, in order, http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this more stable version of Nero, versions after this are "buggy" ( as is version 7.0.0.0) http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 DMA needs to be on, heres a link to guide to turn on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Burning way too fast, reduce speed.
