load an operating system then install all your drivers...

leave some unpartition space before starting the install cause you never know when you will need it...

XP64 is NOT a good idea, imho, unless you need it for a specific task. There is a real shortage of DRIVERS for XP64. So if you have an older scanner, or have some gaming input devices they'll likely not work, or not work like they are supposed to anyway. XP Pro or Media center are what you should be using depending on your intended purpose with the machine.

k, no Windows x64, but what about the drivers for rhe graphiCard? should y take em from ATI or From ASUS? cos it is using ATI chippset, and i think the original driver is cataclyst. . . wich belongs to ATI.

On my eVGA 7800GT the eVGA site just links me to the NVIDIA site for drivers, I would bet that ASUS is the same way, so I'd cut out the middle man and go to the ATI site for my drivers.
