Turn off your virtual drive...... virtual drives causes havoc with Nero. you don't have much RAM and you're using a lot of it! When burning No internet, no multi tasking, and close down all unnecessary programs running in the background! Give Nero all the RAM it can get! something is happening here where your drive is resetting! It's trying to work but it's not there yet and won't work. So Nero won't work until your drive gets ready. A common cause of this is media! Maybe the disk you put in there can't be mounted and therefore it's setting off a reset in your burner! try another brand of media. I recommend Verbatim CDs. don't burn too fast..... slow it down to like 40x or 32x something like that. give your disk a little bit more room to record by taking out a track! you might just be too close to the edge of the disk. in closing: 1. this is one of the most important changes that you have to do: shut off the virtual drive! 2. another important change is to give Nero more RAM. follow the suggestions above. 3. better media. 4. slow down your writing speed. this should help.
I Forgot to mention when i tried burning it with the other cd-burner it would just go to 5% on it and just stay there then it would stop and then i would get the error could not perform track at once and then the error Invalid state but the brand of blank media im using is TDK but yeah i will try a Different brand of media next time and see if it changes or says the samething..but when i used the top drive the light would like turn green and flash really fast on it
