Need help on Video Recorder choice...

    I need to find some advice on purchasing a new digital video camera. I will be using it to record bands. Here lies the problem with my current Handycam. The microphone just doesn't like loud noise such as the bass drum or the bass guitar. I need to find something with a nice microphone that can handle high sound preassures. Can anyone help me here? Thanks

    I think some models offer microphone attachments maybe that is the route you should go.
