Ok, here's what you do, if u downloaded or ripped it to .avi .mpeg or wutever film format... go here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
download the Full Version. Also download VobSub (just Google it) to apply the subtitles you probably downloaded along with it (usually .srt .ssa or .sub files)

You should now be able to play it in your standard Windows Media Player :)

*If you have it on DVD or have bought it do this and the first method didnt work:

Download any DVD playing software (CyberLink PowerDVD recommended)
Insert your disc, open the dvd playing program and load up the disc.

Ok, what you do is, search for the Advent Children srt on the internet, name it exactly as the movie is (the movie is usually called bien-xvid-ff7.avi so name the sub bien-xvid-ff7.avi)

piratebay.org has the sub in torrent format, but there are FFAC movies with hardsubbed subs too

Dude, that's just a plugin for another program.. it wont do the trick...

You can play a movie on XBOX directly with out putting it on the XBOX hdd, if you have a network with your PC it'll work, you just need a dashboard...
Visit this site- http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/ftp-ie.php and you'll find all the info you need, a friend of mine Googled how to do it and his Xbox works like a charm, I recommend the Evo X dashboard (you need a dashboard to play imported or burned games via PC)

As for the Final Fantasy Advent Children sub, I'll upload it for you and here is the link:
(Right mouseclick - Save Target As, or it will just display the subs as text in your browser)

It's my private webspace, so I don't wanna keep it up too long as I usually use all my space as a medium to transport files from school to here, so download it a.s.a.p. and warn me if u got it ;)

So remember, the movie has to have the same name as the suhb or vice versa, only then will it be recognized by VobSub automatically, have fun watching it's definitely 2005's best movie (and probably one of the best ever)

F.Y.I. If somebody gets a copy of FFVII Advent Children on DVD, here is a hint. It is encoded in the pal format which is 25 fps. American DVD Players play NTSC video at 29.97 fps. You can use "VSO DivxtoDVD" program to force 29.97 fps then you can play the movie on any dvd player. I don't think that there is any RCE protection on the disc, so that should be it.

Uhm, a little bit of unnecesary info dont you think, the DVD NTSC version got released first, so ppl should just buy whats for sale in their region or look at the specs in an online sale... there's burning and senseless burning...
