Ok, so Im more than able to handle my mods and roms with consoles but Im having a hell of a time with the ds and I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers. Im going to make this detailed, and I have a very good idea of what should be going on as I have been researching videos and forum posts all day, but Im not quite finding the answers I need.

I have an R4, which I loaded with my DS games and I have no problem with it. I was able to skin it and load saved games. I bought an EZ 3 in 1 because I thought it would be just as easy to use and then I could play my GBA games all on one cartridge. My first problem would be that when I save a GBA game while playing, then I turn off the console, I cant figure out how to load that game. when I go through my different directories, I dont see anything I can click on to load my save, and on the box that comes up when I click there are no save games listed. So my 1st question is what the hell am I doing wrong?
How do I save and then load a save game later?

    2nd Problem. SNEmulDS.
For those who use this with the R4, If you have an EZ 3 in 1 in your DS while you use SNEmulDS does it cause problems? Ive tried a few games out, zombies ate my neighbors had a lot of graphical errors and mario kart wont go past the nintendo logo. I thought I might have gotten bad roms since I was trying this away from home, but those are pretty well distributed roms, what are the odds?

So even though I can hack the crap out of a 360 and every other console I have, I am at a point where I am asking for a Lamans Terms version of how to use the EZ 3 in 1 and advice on the SNES emulator for DS. Ive been searching all day for this stuff since like 8am and Ive given myself a nice headache. So any help would be appreciated and I would be glad to give back any info I have on other consoles. Thanks to anyone who reads this and has pity on my ass.

I can only address point 1.

If you were using an EZ V as your slot 1 card, support for the 3-in-1 is built in. If you are not using an EZ V, you need an external manager.

In order to effectively use an EZ 3-in-1 with a non-EZ V cart, you need to manage the GBA ROMs with something such as Rudolph's 3in1 Expansion Pack tool.

Rudolph's tool manages the loading/unloading of the GBA ROMs onto the 3-in-1 and manages the save files as well.

You also need to "patch" the GBA ROMs before putting them on your R4.

I'm afraid I don't have the time or energy to write a layman's term instruction on how to do it, but it's not that hard. Search on this forum for "Rudolph's" and you will find more details.

I am currently managing 5 GBA Pokemon ROMs between my R4 and 3-in-1 and can upload GBA Pokemon to Pokemon D/P from my R4.

Ok, I can give the GBA issue another good search, I have GBA EXPloader which is working on smalleer games but not any over 16mb, and I got that from rudolph. But I havent seen anything about the expansion pack tool.

So does anyone else know about playing the SNES and roms for other old consoles? Is the SNESmulDS the only/best emulator for SNES games? I have several games I want to play that wont load or have choppy graphics. Any advice or even a good existing thread that I missed or something would be great. A lot of this has been trial and error and toutube vids with links to the software.

I really want to know If I just need to accept that not all snes games will work on the ds.
