I ask this over i audio today but was thinking maybe i should have asked it in here. It really is a combination of both. I want to take th audio off my sermon dvd's so i can put them on cd's to listen in the car. Is there a software out here thats helps you to accomplish that? I really apprecaite the help. Like i said earlier i was not sure which section this would actually go in. Thanks so much for the help. Gretta
from http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/142804 By diabolos You want to Demux the sound from the file! For DVDs the best App to use is DVD Decrypter. For divx/avi files, you can use VirtualDub to save the audio streams as Wave files.
thanks for the link but i am sure i am still going to need a little more help than that.. well I am not justr sure how to begin. I have dvd decrypter i just do no know where to start with it to end up with what i want. I ned someone to kind of point me where there a tutorial or something on this if there is one. I never done anything like this but i am willing to learn. thanks Gretta
I don't have access to it right now to write a step by step, If no-one else helps, I'll try to test it and write it down tonight. I have not done this on purpose, but when first learning Decrypter I did it by accident. Can't be too hard to do on purpose. Only just started in on Virtual Dub, so will check it out as well. Basic break down, when you output to the finished file, instead of creating a System File (Audio + Video) you would select the seperate Audio, Video files output. Then burn the Audio file to a CD.
ok.. i appreciate the help. i was off line a couple of days. I hope i did not miss anything. thanks Again
Hi, Use Virtual Dub Mod to extract the dvd's audio streams (guide found on this site in the guides section - under extract avi audio to ac3) Once extracted to .wav then just use nero burner to burn an audio cd.. it will convert the .wav into the cdr media thats needed to play on your cd player. Hope this helps.. Danbhn
