hi lads, just got a box,genuine.live in kildare.tried changing to manual install.getting no signal at all.now cant get out of language settings.is this box not working or what should i do
The EMU could be off-Press the 'menu' button on your remote and enter 1570 look down the meun it brings up to 'Key EMU' and make sure this is 'ON' if it's off switch it on.
The EMU on or off makes no difference in scanning for channels In Kildare are you Chor*s or N*L ? If Chor*s are you true cable or MMDS Make sure you have the incoming feed in "Cable Input"
c###us is my connection, i have the emu turned on and the cable in the cable input . when i try to scan for channels auto, its coming up as 1/24 only.but not even finding any of those. just got rid of sky ,I NEED THIS TO WORK AAHHHHHHH. CHEERS LADS FOR YOUR REPLIES
i think its cable, i have the analogue tv through pipe in the ground.no box involved.i also have sky in room next door .(if this makes any difference) based in clane
I think you are MMDS, the pipe may come in via a cable but there is a dish for the area which is fed into the houses on your rd or immediate area? Do you have a box from Chorus already, If you have check beneath it it should tell you what type of signal it used, DVB T is MMDS and DVD C is normal via cable. If you dont have one, see if any of your neighbours do, so you can be sure of what your on. You need to make sure your scanning on 6875 which is the chorus freq.
i dont have a box for chorus,its analogue tv only.i was scanning on 6875 also when i put chorus (on) in nagravision and stored, i went back in & it always changed too ntl.
