Need Help! Pls

i've just got the the box super starview 3 (genuine. I've got my null modem cable n my usb adapter but when i load gtromloader i can't select download bcause it says cant open serial port, the system cannot find the file specified. Am i missing sumthing hope theres some 1 2 help thanks

 

As far as I can remember, you need a driver for the usb-serial adaptor, but I could be wrong.
Right-click on the My Computer icon, select properties, then when the window pops up, select the Hardware tab, and click on the Device Manager button. Go down to the + next to COM ports, and see what ports your pc thinks it has, then, when you run the gt-rom loader, you need to change the serial port to the one you found in the device manager.
I think the directions above are correct, it's a long time since I've used Windoze in anger.

 

My computers not accepting tne box is there sumthing else i need 2 do first

 

You need to make sure that you have assigned the correct COMM port to the USB adaptor, check instructions here 3rd down >>>
