Hello, I've been searching everywhere to find a decent HDTV for a couple of days now, but since this is my first time purchasing any sort of TV (and there are so many out there) I need the technical opinion of a community.

Basically what I'm looking for is something decently priced (Below $500), so something no lower than 19". It's going to be placed in my shared bedroom in my new apartment I'll be moving into this week for college.

It will mainly be used for gaming (XBOX 360) but I may rarely use it as a monitor.

I want something reliable and with good quality, sound is not too big of an issue as I'll probably set up a cheap speaker system or use headphones.

    Thanks for your help.

The major diffrence between the first one and second one seems to be the contrast ratio, the higher the better.
I would go with the first one.

One good thing about bestbuy though, is they have a good return policy, If your not happy with it you have 30 days to return it.

Alright, thanks again, I'll take a trip to Best Buy and check it out in person.
