I am going to be buying a ds lite and so far after reading all the comments and checking out some sites i have decided to buy the NINJAPASS X9TF Combo: http://www.modchipman.com/funky-ninjapass-x9tf-combo-ninjapass-1gb-micro-sd-p-1525.html

    1) Is this all i need to play these DS roms on a DS lite? (I don't want to order it and realize i forgot a cart or something like that )
    2) If anyone has this can you comment on the quality and the ease of use?
    3) I read somewhere that a particular chip even supports NES, is it possible on this one?
    4) How is the quality of the backup games running on the NINJAPASS compared to the original?
    5) Can you still run and play your original nintendo DS games and can you still access the original menu?
    6) Does nintendo increase security on these games which would render these thing uselessly from time to time?
    7) Can i play japanese games and GBA games?
    8) How does the drag on drop work as in are there any other files i have to drop in or modify with the game rom i am putting in.
    9) Can you still save your game?
    10) Is it as easy to use as this video says it is?:

    11) How good is the quality of the movies/music?
    13) Does this in any way damage your DS?
    14) And finally, is the modchipman.com site reliable?

Sorry for so many questions but i am a noob . if someone could answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Havig not read up fully on this device I can't answer all your questions, but i'll do my best.

1)If buying from that link, Yes. If you buy from elsewhere you may need to buy the microSD card seperatly.
    2)---
3)There is homebrew that can play NES games, you might want to search to see if thehomebrew works with this.
    4)---
5)Yes, the NinjaPass will plug in like any normal game, just unplug the device and your DS is normal again.
6)Maybe, but chances are no, games keep coming out for other devices (M3/Supercard etc) which won't work, but the patching software and sometimes firmware of the device is updated (usually within a few days) and the games will work -this will most likly be the same with thisif patching ever becomes required for it.
7)You can play Japanese games, but not GBA games.
8)most likly not, as it is a slot1 device no patching should be nessisary (patching normally is only to redirect reading and saving to the GBA port)
    9)Yes
    10)Yes
11)Higher than that of most Mobile Phones, probably a bit lower than the PSP on video iPods.
    12)...what happened to 12?
13)No, like i said earlier, it works just as a normal game
    14)Yes, very reliable.
