You can't unlock your RAZR V3 by just IMEI, but if you visit a site like http://www.motounlocknow.com or http://www.cell-unlock.com you can use their software to unlock your phone for $25.

Why not? Its worked on my Nokia and why not on this one? I've the same freaking software as pple charge for unlocking. Also,btw just dont try more than 4 times. (If you fail 5 times,) then you might have to get a datacable to unlock it. Sorry i dint caution u ealrier. Tahnks
Because its for a Nokia! Unlock codes are completely different for Motorola phones - its not nearly as easy to unlock Motorolas.
Well, are you the guy who maintains that site? I've the same piece of Software. And i've unlocked Motorolas too..Anyways, up to that owner to try or not.thanks!
