i have been tying to softmod and i used this guide http://www.techfreaks.org/articles/modxbox.shtml and i have succecfully modded my xbox but i cannot connect to the internet i switched my internet connection to dchp but it still doesnt work. i also found that when i look in my xbox saves that my account do not show up but they do when im in the game. i was also wondering if someone knew how to mod in just halo 2 not the dashboard or anything?
also can someone give me a link to a guide or tutirial of rebulding your xbox harddrive after the dashboard has been erased

i have a tutorial on how to softmodd an xbox with splintercell and if u didnt back up your eeprom it will be hard to restore your harddrive.. oh yea the tutorial is where my sig is....
yeah but how am i supposed to rebuld from cetain files if i cant get into my xbox will it be ok if i tokk the files needed from my frineds xbox.
yea u can get any file from your friends xbox to replace your old ones but you need to have yourown eeprom....
also can someone help me i have installed the softmods and i have also benn able to put them on my hd but i can not get on live. i have changed my connection to dchp but still nothing. when i try to sign on itdoesnt even say start trouble shooter any help
you shouldnt be able to get on live with a softmod??unless u just did it with the new softmod installer deluxe with the dual boot option....
