as the title says i need help spoofing my Hitachi 47 drive as a BenQ drive.. my benq drive has stopped reading discs so i got an old hitachi drive from my one friend. so my plan was to swap the disc drives out, spoof the Hitachi as a BenQ, and then flash the Hitachi with iXtreme. i have the BenQ drive powered by my xbox and connected to my my windows pc through its on board sata spot. right now i'm trying to extract the key from he benQ drive and then spoof it into the Hitachi drive using firmware toolbox.. however, whenever i try to use jungle flasher to try and extract the BenQ key it gives me an MTK Vendor Intro failed error. in the jungle flasher guide it says to open the drive half way before trying to extract the key but i tried doing this like twenty times but i cant get it to stay half way open.. so i just went on without it and select intro/device id under the MTK Flash 32 tab and thats where i get the MTK Vendor error.. so i need help either getting the drive half way open to use jungle flasher, another way to try getting the BenQ key, or some other solution to the MTK Vendor error message im getting.
leave drive closed. push intro wait for 3 or 4 dots to appear then remove power from drive and repower quickly. This is easier with a connectivity kit but can be done without one.
