    Hi guys,

Ive had my Box for a year now and havent had any problems. Recently Ive started to have problems with some channels (Channel 4, film 4, setanta) so I updated the firmware and also a new channel dump. This fixed the problems with most channels apart from Setanta sports 1 & 2 & Setanta Sports news. Setanta Sports 1 is the only one I really care about.

The quality of the picture will flicker constantly and sometimes drop altogether.

I am currently using 4.50eE. Im in Dublin & am on NTL. Is this the right firmware ?

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers!

Ok the missing channels, if you do a manual scan you will pick these up.
    95 Setanta golf 307.000
    96 Setanta Ireland 291.000
    97 Setanta sports 1 307.000
    98 Setanta sports 2 371.500
    99 Setanta Sports News 355.500

flickering channels... press menu then system info and tell me what it says!

Maybe I wasnt clear in my original post. There is no longer any missing channels. The Setanta set of channels have really bad reception and sometimes drop, but they arent missing.

    Here is the system info:

    APIver: 4.50eE
    Boot ver: 7.0
    5 Jul.2007

Thanks for the quick reply mate!

no that firmware is the correct one for the box you have, just check that all wires are pushed fully home! also if you have any splitters try it without them,as the more spliters you have the weaker the signal, and you will need a booster!
