I have no problems capturing my home movies, edit, encode, and burning to DVD. I want to create VCD's. I used Sony Vegas to do this but the video quality was really poor, is this normal since this is my very first one. How can I improve quality by using another approach. How can I take it from my captured movie to VCD with better video quality.
ok just my experience here so don't bite my head off. Don't use Nero for vcd's while Nero creates excellent dvds it's not so good at vcd try using a free program from cyberlink just register with the site as if you have power dvd and download the software the give away it has an excellent vcd maker and it works fast too
Is it normal for VCD video quality to be so poor, or is it just my encoder? I am using Sony Vegas which uses the Mainconcept Encoder. Should I be using a different encoder to get better video quality.
