Hi I tried updating the box to 'the box ireland' but it woulndt start so rewound it to earler version... I have SV2 Genuine, what firmware do i load? Im N*L dublin too, any help is appreciated!
be more specific why have you tryed to update your box?what have you tryed to put on your box you should only need v.450 on your starview2
I have API Ver 4.00e_E Boot Ver: 7.0 7June 2007 Its a SV2, and im lookin to make it update itself when codes are changed... I tried putting 4.50 on it but it would start up, does 4.5 have auto update? And is it possible to have the same menu option as SV3... Eg. everything is in catagories 'Movies' 'Sports' 'Entertainment', when you press the ok button... Thanks for replies guys
api ver 4.00eE is for starview 1 only the 4.50 is for starview 2 (the box)and autorolls there are cdf files in eamos library which can sort favs for you or you can do it manually

dont quite get what your saying your thread reads so which box have you it will say it on the actual box
sorry you meant the box in your link make sure you do not have a clone there are two autorollling firmware for starview 1 in eamos library under my pic (starview folder)one is for clones but can be used on genuine and clones the other is for genuine onlycrptstar v1.4 core 257(for clones)and crypstar v1.4genuine only
Sorry for wrecking your head, so its a SV1? Its a genuine and i have API Ver 4.00e_E Boot Ver: 7.0 loaded onto it... is it possible to make it so that when you press ok you can press left or right and movies/music/sport etc. come up? Cheers for the help mate!
yes you can rename the favs or load a cdf on to it yuo will find one in eamos library in the strview folder
