i currently have a dell dimension 4600 with a 2.8 GHz processor and a pathetic 256 mb of ram. I'm looking to upgrade to two one gb ram so it'd actually be two gb, buying a GeForceā„¢ 7800 GT PCIe (PCI Express) Graphics Card (copy and paste thank you very much) and a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sound card. should i also look at a new processor for gaming? or is the one i have good enough? if i do need to upgrade what should i upgrade to? Let me know about any of these decisions, cause this is a crap load of money im gonna be spending. Thanks a mil,
    MrX

Dell is known for having and using sub standard parts. The best way is to start from scratch. Check out newegg...they are fricking awsemoe. I got a amd 3700+....case....and epox mobo for under 500 hundred with no probs. TRhe only prob I have is the damn vid card keeps crashing. Ati sucks...:>

Plus you probally can reuse things like your cd rom and hard drives, but the mobos and power supplies is not a standard thing with thewm.
