I'm having some problems w/ My Office 2003 XP, on my desktop. I can't uninstall it. When I go to CONTROL PANEL & remove it , it gives me a message saying.......... THIS PATCH PACKAGE COULD NOT BE OPENED.Verify that the patch package exists & that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verifythat this is a valid Windows Installer patch package. I do have the original disc. How can I remove whats on my PC, so that I can re-install office on my PC. I need help PLEASE. I'm trying to setup my resume so that I can apply for some jobs online. Did you try to uninstall manually. start>search>files & folders>type in program name>right click files & delete. Your disk is an original Microsoft Office disk?
Tried that, it won't let me delete quite a few files. says ACCESS DENIED. But I'm the Admin. on my PC.
