have an xbox with an x2 chip and xecuter bios with evo x dash, was re flashing the bios because for some reason it said unknown bios on the dash. halfway through the flash I powered off. (long story dont want to go into it). anyway now it loads up to an error 16 or error 5 with disc in. I dont know if there is a way to load a bios since it wont boot past the flubber/error screen. Im pretty much lost now so if anyone could even point me in the right direction id appreciate it.

Are you saying it won't boot with an AID disk in the DVD drive?

Switch your chip to bank2.. that should then boot the bios flash utility. Once that loads you can switch banks back and flash the damaged bank with a working bios.. If you have flashed both banks previously try switching the chip off and see what happens.

It is normal for the dash to report "unknown" for a bios version.

Correct it will not boot with slayer 2.7 burned on any type of media, also my chip does not have a switch, its an x2 pro chip. I have searched all over and cannot find anything about it online. Still displays error message 16 after initial flubber thing. Hopefully someone on the site will have an idea on reviving my box as after a week of messing with it I am out of ideas. thanks for any suggestions and the help so far
